As a comunity of faith, we are called to participate together with others in the struggle for the right to a just peace with dignity for all God's people. The United Church of Canada is committed to pursuing peace. One expression of this committment is the United for Peace Campaign.
You are invited to share stories and pictures of United for Peace activities from your pastoral charge, presbytery and conference. The campaign began on November 4th, 2007 and will end December 2009:
LEARN about the root causes of violence, and about the work of partners in Canada and around the world to prevent conflict and support recocilliation.
ACT by calling on the Canadian government to take actions that promote peace around the world.
GIVE to support Canadian and global partners as they work for peace with justice for all people.
